The Art

AlAnoud’s work lives in the public spaces of Doha. In 2020 she was selected for JEDARIART, Qatar Museums’ initiative bringing murals and street art to the city, and painted a Kufic mural at the Qatar National Library metro station in Education City around the prayer “My Lord, increase me in knowledge”, chosen for a place where people from all over the world gather to learn. During the pandemic she created a mural reading “Hope” with Qatar Museums for patients recovering in quarantine, and her mural “Peace” was part of the Pow! Wow! international mural festival at Al Sadd metro station. In 2019 she painted four murals titled “Authenticity” at Education City Stadium, celebrating cultural heritage as the inspiration for a bright future.

Her collaborations reach well beyond Doha’s walls. In 2023 she created “Mujtama Fiha” with Cartier, inspired by verses by Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, founder of the State of Qatar; it was released as 50 limited edition artworks for International Women’s Day and later shown at Cartier’s boutique in Place Vendôme Mall. That same year she designed the helmet Pierre Gasly wore at the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix, with Qatar Creates and Bell Helmets.

Her private collection “Harmony of Letters” is shown at The Ned Doha, inspired by the marble of the former Ministry of Interior building it occupies. In 2026 the Qatar Olympic Committee commissioned “Between Land and Sea” for Qatar House at the Asian Games in Nagoya: an interactive artwork in which each creature of Qatar’s desert and sea is shaped from the letters of its own name in Arabic calligraphy.

The Collection

Splendore Unique was drawn to AlAnoud’s ability to make calligraphy feel both rooted in tradition and entirely contemporary. Her dial for the DateJust 41 mirrors a calligraphic composition across four sections of a sunburst blue base, raised with a specialist printing technique that gives it genuine depth, and carries her signature just above six o’clock.
