Father Emir Daytona

Splendore Unique presents the Father Emir Chronograph, an independently conceived commemorative creation inspired by the life and legacy of His Highness the Late Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Based on the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, this bespoke interpretation is distinguished by a deep maroon dial inspired by the national colour of Qatar. Complementing the dial is a matching burgundy ceramic tachymeter bezel, creating a unified monochromatic composition that enhances the presence and individuality of the timepiece.

Refined applied baton hour markers preserve the recognisable balance and sporting elegance of the original chronograph while allowing the commemorative details to become the focal point of the design.

Positioned within the upper chronograph sub-dial, the name “Hamad”, rendered in elegant Arabic calligraphy, forms a subtle tribute to the Late Father Emir. The State of Qatar emblem is incorporated within the opposing chronograph sub-dial, creating a harmonious dialogue between personal remembrance and national identity. Completing the composition, a portrait of His Highness the Late Father Emir is positioned beneath the central hands, just above the 6 o’clock marker.

Together, these elements create a balanced commemorative composition that celebrates remembrance, cultural heritage and enduring legacy while preserving the unmistakable character of the Cosmograph.
