Description
Prepare to journey beyond the confines of our world with the Richard Mille RM 52-05 Tourbillon Pharrell Williams. Created in close collaboration with the multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and visionary producer, this highly exclusive timepiece represents a 180-degree shift in perspective. Limited to a highly coveted production run of just 30 pieces worldwide, it is an astonishing triumph of Haute Horlogerie that dares to observe Earth from the surface of Mars.
A Subversive Cosmic Dial
At the centre of this horological masterpiece is an extraordinary, hand-sculpted astronaut’s helmet crafted from grade 5 titanium. Reflected in its visor is a breathtaking view of Earth rising above the dramatic Valles Marineris landscape of the Red Planet. To achieve this unmistakable hue, the Martian rock face is brought to life using solid red gold and exquisite enamel. The intricate orange to red and blue to black colour gradients require superimposing layers and multiple firings at 850 °C.
To illuminate the cosmos, the helmet is flanked by two white gold elements acting as floodlights, ingeniously set with two diamonds and a black sapphire. Surrounding this, the astronaut’s spacesuit is composed of grade 5 titanium, flawlessly painted white using an airbrush technique.

The Calibre RM52-05 Movement
Powering this spectacular watch is the Calibre RM52-05, a state-of-the-art manual winding tourbillon movement that acts as a horological space shuttle. Its grade 5 titanium baseplate and skeletonised bridges are designed to evoke rocket launch platforms. In a final stroke of cosmic brilliance, the baseplate features dazzling large inserts of blue aventurine glass—often referred to as ‘goldstone’—which perfectly mimics the star-studded vastness of outer space.
