Hindi-Arabic numerals are printed onto a pristine white dial, and as they travel clockwise from 12 to 6 they take on an inverted pattern, then return the same way from 6 back to 12. The effect is elegant and intriguing, rewarding a second look at every hour. Heritage and modernity sit side by side, with the square Santos case as the frame.
