Watch Condition & Listing Guide

Every watch offered by Splendore Pieces is carefully reviewed before it is listed. Each product page uses clear tags to help you understand the watch’s condition, history and included documentation before purchase.

All watches are supplied with papers as a minimum. Exact inclusions, condition notes and any service or restoration history will always be stated on the individual listing.

Condition

NEW

A brand-new watch that is unused and unworn.

UNWORN

A watch that has been previously owned or sourced from a private collection but shows no signs of wear.

LIKE NEW

A lightly handled or lightly worn watch with virtually no visible signs of use.

EXCELLENT

A watch in outstanding overall condition, showing only very minor signs of careful wear.

VERY GOOD

A watch with light signs of wear consistent with normal, careful ownership. The watch remains clean, presentable and fully functional.

GOOD

A watch with more noticeable signs of wear, such as light marks, scratches or age-related cosmetic signs. These will always be reflected clearly in the images and description.

Era & History

VINTAGE

A watch from an earlier era, generally around 20 years old or more. Vintage watches may show character, patina and signs of age that contribute to their individuality.

RESTORED

A watch that has undergone disclosed restoration, refinishing, replacement work or repair. The product description will explain the work carried out where known.

Restored is not a condition grade. A restored watch may still be listed as Excellent, Very Good or Good depending on its current overall condition.

What Is Included

PAPERS INCLUDED

Every Splendore Pieces watch is supplied with accompanying paperwork as a minimum. The exact documentation included, such as a warranty card, certificate, retailer paperwork or service records, will be confirmed within the individual listing.

ORIGINAL BOX

The watch is supplied with its original manufacturer presentation box.

FULL SET

The watch is supplied with its original box, papers and any available accompanying items, such as booklets, tags, accessories or additional links.

SERVICE PAPERS

The watch is accompanied by documented service or maintenance paperwork.
